Custom insert designed by Jonah Pope to fit your Milwaukee Packout Compact Tool Box for storing your Makita 18V LXT Batteries. It specifically fits the Milwaukee 48228422 PACKOUT Compact Tool Box: https://www.milwaukeetool.com.au/storage/packout/tool-boxes/48228422.html

Features:

Easy Storage - Compact and protected storage solution for your assortment of 18V Batteries! The insert simply drops in from the top and sits securely on the provided lip inside. It functions in the exact same way as the stock drop in tray that comes with the box.

Handles - Recessed handles are provided at each end of the insert to help you with lifting out the insert and access gear in the bottom of the box. Two additional handles are provided along the sides for extra options as well as a lip that runs the entire side for extra grip.

Snap In Place - Your batteries will clip in place just like on your Makita tools. You can turn the entire insert upside down and the batteries won't move at all. To insert, push the battery into the slot as you would with your tools. To remove press thebutton to release just like with your tools and lift up.

Batteries - Designed to fit standard Dewalt 18V XR Li-Ion Batteries ranging from 2.0AH to 5.0AH. More details provided below.

Testing was able confirm that the following batteries are compatible:

3.0AH - Makita BL1830B-L 18V 3.0Ah Li-ion Cordless Battery

4.0AH - Makita BL1850B-L 18V 5.0Ah Li-ion Cordless Battery

5.0Ah - Makita BL1840B-L 18V 4.0Ah Li-ion Cordless Battery

Unsupported Batteries Note - Jonah has not been able to test 6.0Ah LXT battery as he didn't have access to one. Provided it is not larger in footprint than the 5.0Ah, it may fit. Anything larger than 6.0 certainly will not be compatible due to the dramatically different & larger shell/physical size.

Custom Colours

All our products come in the colour as stated in the product description. If you would like a custom colour please write your request in the order notes on the cart page before checking out.

Shipping Time

All our products are made to order and take roughly 48 hours to ship. Larger orders may take an additional day. All orders are shipped via AU post STD or Express. Please check AU post website for timings to your area. We ship from Somersby NSW 2250

As we do custom design requests we can also make alterations or complete new designs to your specifications.

If a slight change in dimensions there will be an additional $5.95 processing fee. If the change is to different we may need to start the design from scratch and we will quote this on a case by case basis.
